By WAYNE PARRY
Associated Press Writer

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Federal authorities Friday charged a Wisconsin man in a hoax threat that warned seven football stadiums across the nation would be targeted by terrorists with radiological "dirty bombs" this weekend.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark did not immediately identify the man but said in a news release announcing the charge that he would be in court in Milwaukee later Friday.

4. Does appear the story was "pumped up" quite a bit in the early stages
of the investigation. Hate being so cynical....but, come on. With all the records they have access to they must have had that entire exchange reassembled long before this went public. Nice marketing ploy for DHS though, reminder that they are on the job.

Wonder what the charges will be? Let this be a lesson when co-authoring a fairy tale online - insert lots of disclaimers.

2. If he's an unlawful enemy combatant..
.. does he still get habeas corpus?

I guess he does since he's appearing in court Friday,
but still...

3. How nice of them to use the court system
a little water boarding and they could convince the guy to admit he is an illegal wetback in cahoots with Osama Bin Laden, sent to infiltrate the KKK and impose gay marriage on disenfranchised skinheads and spread anti-Republican propaganda to allow Democrats to bleed the nation dry through raised death taxes, so that Aliens from Mars can safely invade the country's basket-case and impose Martian Law.

My gawd.

Are they going to arrest Dave Barry for writing the book, "Big Trouble?"

8. Gotta show how tough on "terra" they are, I suppose? But what does this
say about how "we have to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here"?

I'm so confused.

10. The guy must either not be registered to vote or independent
If he were a Dem, he'd be at Guantanamo. If he were Repub, he'd be a cabinet member, probably running FEMA
