Suicide bomb rips Tal Afar; bullet-riddled bodies found
POSTED: 5:21 a.m. EDT, October 7, 2006

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide truck bomber hit an Iraqi army
checkpoint, killing at least 10 people and wounding eight more
in the northern city of Tal Afar Saturday morning, police and
hospital officials said.

The dead included three Iraqi soldiers. Tal Afar is about 45 miles
(72 kilometers) west of Mosul

In Baghdad, plagued by sectarian violence between Shiites and
Sunni Arabs, Iraqi security forces found 15 bullet-riddled bodies,
some with signs of torture, a Baghdad emergency police official
said.

None of the bodies could be immediately identified by police.

1. And the beat goes on.......
"stay the course" Bush cried! "Stay the course" is not a winning strategy. "Stay the course" is what you do when you're in the fucking weeds and don't have a clue what to do next.

Out of Iraq. NOW!

3. And probably more important than its distance from Mosul,
Tal Afar is about 60 miles from Syria, on the road from Syria to Mosul, and the first significant population center after crossing the border.

4. But I Though Colonel McMasters Fixed Everything
Oh that's right, they replaced that commander and his soldiers with the usual type of soldiers a long time ago.
