Gunmen kidnap 14 from Baghdad computer firm
BAGHDAD (AFP) - Gunmen dressed in military-style uniforms and driving what appeared to be government-issued pickup trucks kidnapped 14 people from a computer company in Baghdad.

Seven pickup trucks similar to those used by Iraqi security forces pulled up at the Sira computer company near the Technology University in central Baghdad carrying gunmen who then picked up everyone in the store.

The incident comes only a day after 26 people were taken from a food processing factory in southwest Baghdad by gunmen, some of whom also wore military-style uniforms.

In addition to those snatched and later killed as part of the ongoing sectarian strife in the country, many Iraqis are kidnapped and ransomed by criminal gangs.
