Hijack of Qatar Airways flight to Doha foiled --TV

DUBAI, Aug 10 (Reuters) - An attempt to hijack a Qatar Airways flight was foiled on Thursday, Qatar-based Al Jazeera television reported.

The news channel said the flight was heading to the Qatari capital Doha from Jordan's capital, Amman.

...an developmentally disabled guy lost it and started walking up and down the aisle while on the plane. There was a account of a newscaster on MSNBC talking about it here:

I'm not sure why they are characterizing it as a 'hijack attempt', because that's not what the rest of the story sounded like.
