US Senate Candidate Crystle Encourages Opponent to Build Campaign Web Site

November 18th, 2003, Lancaster, PA—Today US Senate
Candidate from Pennsylvania Charlie Crystle encouraged
Joe Hoeffel to look into getting a campaign web site.
“I hear this internet thing is going to be big,” joked
Crystle. The Crystle campaign has had both a static
web site and a campaign web log since this summer,
giving voters a chance both to learn more about
Crystle and his views and interact with the candidate
directly...

2. Why is Crystle running? Vanity?
Specter could have problem in primary, making him a little more vulnerable.
Hoeffel is best democratic PA senate candidate in years. Liberal, and a good guy. Why make him spend money in a fruitless Crystle primary bid with no chance (or as much chance as Nader had winning the presidency).
I am sick of Specter/Santorum and would love to see a Dem. senator again in PA. This is the best chance for it.

Check the ratings below!

ADA ratings for 2002:

Hoeffel 95%
Specter 35%
Santorum 5%

Hoeffel 100%
Specter 46%
Santorum 15%

League of Conservation Voters

Hoeffel 88%
Specter 53%
Santorum 6%

Hoeffel 4%
Specter 50%
Santorum 95%

4. I think it's only proper
to inform those that do not know that you are Charlie Crystle. Not everybody knows that and it seems that it's a bit of information that people responding to your post may find pertinent.

Just my .02.

5. sorry, will do.
I am Charlie Crystle.

I am not running for vanity--any candidate will tell you it's much too hard for that. Hoeffel voted for the Patriot Act, Bush's war and his policy of pre-emptive military intervention based on a perceived threat (Bush's perception, mind you), and is a DLC "centrist" and a self-describved "free trader". We can get into this deeper if ou'd like.

In the future I'll post as me and leave srpantalonas for non-race issues.
