Yippee. Hey, if you're going to live in a police state, might as well make it total.

(Will I get royalties for my daily performance in front of the cameras?)

This is so just the beginning.

2. "An additional 3,100 cameras monitor city housing projects"
I'm sure the residents are really happy about this. Oh wait, they're poor therefore they are dangerous and shouldn't be given privacy rights.

4. yeah, well, maybe your son doesn't care about the guy
behind the camera masturbating while he watches someone kissing their girlfriend goodnight in front of their apartment, but me, I'd rather not be on candid camera at every street corner, thanks.

the fact that anyone is "grateful" that there are cameras everyone is disturbing.

8. People who are grateful their every move is watched
Have deep seated security fears

Like some big hairy monster is going to attack them

Or 3 non white minority men are going to GANG rape them

With Bevis and Butthead watching 100 screens at a time and bored out of their ass

The cameras are useless to stop any thing from happening

The cameras will however be watched for ENTERTAINMENT by the minders,
as some prostitute Gives a "Head Job" to a convention goer
outside Madison Square Garden.

7. Hi
If you actually think somehow cameras prevents crime from happening you're "damn" WRONG, most of the CCTV systems in the UK probably are not recording at full frame (if they're recording), most of the photos that are taken are compressed which means you probably can't identify the perpetrator unless he or she is wearing very distinctive clothing and they have so many cameras there is no way they can monitor everything.
