Three U.S. Troops Killed In Western Iraq
http://www.wral.com/apworldnews/5303433/detail.html

<snip>

A roadside bomb killed the U.S. Marine on Thursday along the Syrian border in Karabilah, about 200 miles west of Baghdad, during Operation Steel Curtain, the military said.

Two U.S. soldiers died after being hit by small arms fire Thursday during combat operations in Khaldiyah, 55 miles west of Baghdad, the military said. The soldiers were members of a U.S. army unit detailed to the 2nd Marine Division, operating in western Iraq.

The deaths brought the number of U.S. service members killed in Iraq since the war began to 2,059, according to an Associated Press count.

Three Iraqi police officers were killed Friday when their vehicle was ambushed near Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad, officers at a regional command center said.

... I believe it is 2062. And if this below is true 2064. When will this madness end...

* KIRKUK - Witnesses said two U.S. soldiers appeared to have been killed when a makeshift bomb hit a military fuel convoy as it drove between Mosul and Kirkuk, about 250 km (150 miles) north of Baghdad. The military had no word on casualties.

3. More dead in Iraq for corporate profits.
I supported military action in Afghanistan. Every American should be outraged that Bu$h and the corporate cabal abandoned a justified mission for a war for corporate profits. The most ludicrous part of the Afghanistan operation was trusting the Pakistanis to guard the border to catch a terrorist that Pakistani troops greatly admire. Bu$h needed the troops to invade oil-rich Iraq so he let Bin Laden get away.

How many will die in the unjust Iraq war?

RIP, Troops.

4. "Bring it on" screamed the demented chimp.
And they brought it on and our nation's blood and treasure is being poured endlessly down the drain of the Iraqi quagmire. How many more of our sons and daughters must die? How many more Iraqis will we kill? When will our 'leaders' have the courage to admit their mistakes?

5. I've been meaning to thank you, leftchick.......
for keeping us all up to date on this. You see so little of it in the MSM.

The coward-in-chief said "bring it on" hiding behind his cushy, security laden life while America's soldiers are dying and being maimed daily (mentally and physically) so these bastards can get record oil profits. I despise the whole lot of them and karma is going to be such a bitch for them. I just know it.

8. it is the least I can do
to raise awareness of this madness. I have noticed NO mention of US soldiers deaths daily on tv "news" since we reached 2000 2 1/2 weeks ago! That makes me furious. :grr:
