LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the sister of President John F. Kennedy and founder of the Special Olympics, has been hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center after suffering a minor stroke, the hospital said Monday.

Shriver, 84, entered the hospital Saturday, and also is being treated for a stress fracture of the left hip.

"Doctors anticipate a short hospital stay," UCLA Medical Center said in a statement.

A hospital spokesman declined further comment.

Shriver is the mother of California's first lady, Maria Shriver, the wife of Robert Sargent Shriver, the first director of the U.S. Peace Corps, and the sister of Sen. Ted Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat....

A Republican. She'll go visit her mother in a few weeks, or months, or whatever.

7. Maria is also a disgrace to the legacy...
but then Eunice didn't help matters when she supported Aaarrrnold during his campaign and of course after he hijacked California.

I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of "fond memories" for either mother or daughter.

is restored.

My mother would turn heaven and hell for me but she would not support me for the Groper.
