Time to get even tougher says Bush
Time to get even tougher says Bush

United States President (sic) George W. Bush used the broadcast of a new audio tape purportedly made by Osama bin Laden to bolster his case yesterday that "the war on terror goes on" and nations must bind together against the threat. "This is still a dangerous world," he said (that international terrorist George W. Bush created, setting the stage for another Republican coup d'etat in 2004).

6. VERY tough times ahead
1 Kings 12
10 The young men who had grown up with him replied, "Tell these people who have said to you, 'Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but make our yoke lighter'-tell them, 'My little finger is thicker than my father's waist. 11 My father laid on you a heavy yoke; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions.' "

8. Interesting!
Carlyle Group and Saudis are business partners, 'eh? Iraq owes Saudi a lot of money, how much will go to the Carlyle Group?

Saudi is fairly well protested by the U.S. it appears. And guess who's gonna defend the Saudis in the lawsuit against 'em by the 911 victims, none other than James Baker from the Carlyle Group.

Now, junior is gonna get tough, LOL!!

9. What?
"the war on terror goes on" and nations must bind together against the threat.

Then why is he such a unilateralist? He is "King George", he is the king of saying one thing and doing another.

10. Times to get tougher on Bush
Rumors of planned troop drawndown. Thirty attacks in one day. Phony psy-war efforts against the American people exposed as forgery and fraud. An 87 billion dollar swindle fools the venal swine in Congress but not the people.

Nothing fails like a military failure.

13. LOL, great analogy!
But, they know they have the 2004 s-election all wrapped up w. Diebold. When he reinstalls himself as dictator in 2004, he will begin the international terrorism campaign in earnest, not to mention the domestic clampdown.

15. If times are going to get so tough
then maybe it's time to put a "General" in the WH who actually knows how to fight a war with no casualties, and before all the bashing starts this comment is only to use "one" of our candidates to counter *'s incompetence. I am a Clark supporter but will work for the Dem nominee that is the key to winning back the WH. When * opens his mouth there is always one candidate that has a much better and smarter way to solve the crisis that * has created.

17. "This is still a dangerous world,"
I was watching a program last night about homeless
families in San Diego. I watched tiny children
going through dumpsters looking for things to
make their sad existence a little better. For them
the world is already a dangerous place....even
without terrorists. AWOL is their enemy.

18. Proof of your being a "Miserable Failure" of a President, George.
Had your wackjob advisors not told you to back away from international calls to convert the forces in Afghanistan (post invasion) to peace keeping missions - to bring stability throughout the country, and prevent the warLord system of chaos from returning; had you done the investment that you promised (ala what you are now doing at an even higher level in Iraq), in Afghanistan - and hired the citizens of the war-ravaged country - their economic loyalties would be to the new government and the system that employs them. Had you not pulled out troops and support efforts for those troops, you might have been able to prevent the regrouping of both the Taliban and Al Queada both inside of Afghanistan - and on the borders of Afghanistan.

Had your greed and ego not pushed Iraq. You might still have great international support for legal means of pursuing the "War on Terrorism". And by now, you might just have captured Bin Laden. Even if not, you would have been able to weaken the organization.

Your prostestations aside - it is YOUR abysmal failure at protecting national security - that leaves us at great risk.

Your men are foolishly plotting the next series of invasions, while continuing to let Afghanistan (and now Iraq) fester. You have become the poster-boy recruitment ploy for 'the terraists'.

Meanwhile you and yours are working quickly to loot our treasury, and plunder our natural resources, in a manner and speed that would make Ferdinand Marcos jealous.

Bully for you, shrub.

19. Osama bitchslaps bush*/republicans!
<snip from article>

"I tell the American troops, now that daylight has come and all the lies have been exposed, your stay in Iraq is unjust and a huge folly. You are selling your world for someone else's. Your blood will be spilled so the White House gang gets richer and the arms dealers with them, as well as the large companies involved." ---OBL

<end>

The troops and people at home are starting to figure this out. More every day. Those of us here (at DU) have known this from the start.

Thank god( or Al Gore) for the Net.

Another tape from OBL only proves the impotence and incompetence of the bush*/republicans. It is impossible to kill a fly with a sledge hammer.
