RANCHO CUCAMONGA — President Bush is expected to arrive at Ontario International Airport in the early afternoon today and then head to the James L. Brulte Senior Center, in Rancho Cucamonga, in what White House officials call a back-and-forth" discussion of the administration's new prescription drug benefit program.

(snip)

At the Senior Center, Bush will discuss his Medicare plan before flying to San Diego where he will spend the night before a speech Tuesday at the North Island Naval Air Station on the 60th anniversary of the Japanese surrender ending World War II.

The senior center was notified of the president's visit weeks before Friday's announcement. Senior center staff randomly selected residents who use the facility, then the selectees were screened for security purposes, White House staffer Allen Abney said.

Protests and counterprotests are expected near the center throughout the day.

4. It's proof of Bush's Bizarro World thinking
If Americans need your help from the worst weather possible, make yourself comfortable in the best weather possible.

5. Run away, run away, run away!!!!
Anything's better than having to deal with them scary protestors in Crawford!!!

After they screened out all the dangerous geezers at the senior center--you know, Al Kada and Ole Sammie Ben Laden, he was probably left with those "senior daycare" folks in advanced stages of dementia...see, they don't ask any hard questions.

And oh, joy--the poor bastards at NORIS where he is giving his speech must be thrilled (not)--all that scrubbing, polishing, uniform inspections, just to listen to an asshole who has gutted the Navy and disrespected, indeed, shamed, its traditions.

On the bright side, at least he isn't delaying the arrival home to loving families of a forward-deployed carrier by FIVE fucking days for a photo op "at sea" (where you can see land if the camera angle is shifted) this time...

9. You are no doubt on the money about
the seniors -- all far gone except a select few staunch repuke kool-aid drinkers with scripted questions - probably bussed in from some gated community in Palm Springs. No way would his handlers risk having the chimp confront seniors like my 80-year-old parents who'd spit on him if they had the chance.
