TORONTO (AP) --The U.S. Department of Homeland Security will install radio frequency technology at five border posts with Canada and Mexico to track foreigners driving in and out of North America.

3. how insanely stupid
Anybody who is planning to do bad things, and has any reason to think they're on a watch list, will just steal either a car or just a document with an RFID from some upstanding family truckster.

by boat. This is so totally stupid: Anyone who wants to get into the country can swim across a couple of narrow passages in the st lawrence river, and totally ignore the bridge crossing.

We invaded the wrong country, and now, we're punishing the wrong people. This is a total waste of time and money.
