Venezuela Generals Behind Spanish Embassy Bombing
<clips>

CARACAS (AP)--Two prominent dissident generals were behind a bombing that damaged the Spanish Embassy earlier this year, the head of Venezuela's intelligence police said.

Army Gen. Nestor Gonzalez Gonzalez and National Guard Gen. Felipe Rodriguez helped plan the Feb. 25 explosion, said Miguel Rodriguez Torres, director of the Disip intelligence police, in comments published Monday in El Nacional newspaper.

The two generals belong to group of dissident military officers who have occupied a Caracas plaza for the past year. The officers have stayed at the plaza even though the armed forces have ignored their calls for rebellion against President Hugo Chavez's leftist government.

The government also accuses Gonzalez Gonzalez of leading an April 2002 coup that briefly ousted Chavez.

1. Chavez needs to take this to the UN or World Court.
Accuse the bastards of terrorism, since bombing an embassy is surely terrorism.

Then get the UN to freeze all funding for the group that supported these generals.

The US govt is funding terrorism in Venezuala. Bush has asked the UN to fight a war against all terrorists. Surely Bush would support a war against these terrorists.

. In light of the fact that Venesuala is a democracy it is the height of absurdity to be supporting a coup.
