6 hopefuls to attend NAACP conference
Add Kucinich and Gephardt to the list. And Dean's campaign says they are working on it.

Get the scoop from the Charlotte Observer.

It doens't mention Lieberman's observance of the sabath, but they said something about a midmorning broadcast on Friday. Still up in the air, I guess.

" Organizer Brenda Anderson said she expects about 180 convention delegates and another 300 guests from the community, including representatives of Latino and Asian groups."

The S.F. Chronicle ran an article about the Asian population out here in CA with regards to the recall. 60% of Asians are Democrat, 30% are undecided and 10% are republicans. The problem is, nobody ask their opinion. The shrewd candidate would notice this sort of thing and address it. Next time Dean is in CA he needs to walk the streets of LA and SF Chinatown shaking hands. Giving out T-shirts that say I want my country back in the Chineese language. Go to Hawaii and put that in Japaneese. There are huge groups of voters that feel ignored out there, it leads to voter apathy.
