President Will Lay Wreath at Arlington

WASHINGTON - Official ceremonies and solemn visits will mark Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery.

The formal wreath-laying ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. EDT at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
President Bush will be among those paying respects to the nation's war dead.

And the Memorial Day parade in Washington will feature one of the country's oldest veterans. Lloyd Brown was 16 years old when he signed up to fight in World War I. He's now 103, and one of an estimated 30 U.S. veterans of World War I still alive.

This was announced at 9 am est. Can you feel the guilt?

1. guilt and remorse could bite bush on the arse
and he wouldnt know what it was.
for him to even step one foot into Arlington cemetery is a dishonour and a mockery of every veteran living and dead.

13. My sentiments exactly.
Ironic, isn't it. A coward placing a wreath for a hero. Makes me sick to my stomach.

4. I'd like to see arms reach up from the graves
and drag him down so the ghosts of TRUE HEROES can dropkick him into hell where he belongs.

The nerve of this rat in human clothing, the fucking COWARD who's pissed his pants so many times that COORS is thinking of tapping into his kidneys to up production just in time for the ones that have to drink to forget watching their pals heads explode while they were talking about their wives, gals, and loved one in a fox hole.

I'd like to see that section of earth swallow this fecal stained hate, death and pain generator and then slam shut while rainbows come out.

I'd like to see a grave bulge, tripping him so he hits his head on an HONORABLE troops gravestone putting him in a coma so that Frist and company can stand on his air hose and deliver long speeches about humanitarianism.

Coward, lying, deluded, hateful, ignorant, pussy, piece of shit has NO BUSINESS there..

Just like when the Coward sent his wife to the middle east to die to boost his sagging ratings..

A huge bolt of lightning from a compassionate god would do as well.

12. How predictable. Someone started
Edited on Mon May-30-05 10:04 AM by LibDemAlways
a thread yesterday asking DUers to speculate on what the chimp would be doing today. Unfortunately the thread quickly sank, but my response was "Do a wreath-lay photo op, go for a bike ride, then go behind closed doors and get shit-faced. Why should Memorial Day be different from any other day?" Bush is one sick, cowardly bastard, laying wreaths in Arlington when he won't attend even a single funeral for one of the thousands his policies have killed. Dumb-ass hypocrite.

I hope the POS accidentally steps into a freshly dug grave. Wouldn't that be a photo op for the ages?

14. He's not worthy to lay a wreath at anyone's grave site
A lying war criminal responsilbe for the deaths of so many is definitely not worthy to lay a wreath at anyone's grave site.

29. Bush at Tomb of Unknown Soldier
Bush was an unknown soldier, he was unknown to his commanding officer, he was unknown at roll call, he just was not known by the Air Guard. As far as he is concerned now, the soldiers are unknown to him. He does not know them, he knows not of their suffering and sacrifice, he know not of their deaths, they are unknown to him. He has created an entire generation of unknown soldiers.
