Clubs lay bare criticisms of bill


Dick Snow sees Bazooka’s Showgirls, his nude dancing club, as part of the success story of the Crossroads District in downtown Kansas City.

Some Missouri lawmakers, however, see Bazooka’s and similar clubs as a blight on morals.

Last week, morals won when the General Assembly passed a bill to outlaw totally nude dancing, raise the minimum age of patrons and dancers to 21 and require at least 10 feet between seminude performers and customers. It also would add restrictions on adult video arcades.

If anyone has been to a strip club a ten foot rule would kill the strip club. You can get closer to a Hooters girl for crying out loud. With the freepers in charge we can all go to work, read the bible and go to church. Oh yea and gay bash while being a closet homosexual. These freaks are driving me to the brink of insanity.

Why do current elected Democrats, no matter state or federal, rarely take a stand to defend the constitution?

Remember when John Kerry wouldn't go on Howard Stern because he was afraid of offending anyone?

Democrats need to stand up for the Constitution and our civil rights.

7. Does it honestly matter if they are 10 feet away or touching?

And, there will always be money in it, no matter what the restrictions. Do we really care about this when instead they are talking about enlarging the Patriot Act?
