Mexico's first lady fights back with suit
Martha Sahagun to file lawsuit over author's allegations about sons in book.

MEXICO CITY – Mexico's first lady says she will sue the author of a new book over allegations her three sons made a fortune from government-funded building contracts.
It would be the first time Marta Sahagun went to court over accusations involving herself or her family, despite being a regular target of criticism since marrying President Vicente Fox in 2001.
Sahagun issued a brief statement Monday night saying she planned to sue journalist Olga Wornat over her new collection of essays on Latin American political scandals.
Wornat, who harshly criticized the first lady in a 2003 biography, says lucrative public works contracts have turned Sahagun's sons from a previous marriage into millionaires with a taste for private jets and designer suits.
