Web Site Encourages Bush Challengers

CONCORD, N.H. - A former state Republican Party chairman has set up a Web site to encourage GOP challengers to President Bush (news - web sites) in New Hampshire's presidential primary.

David Gosselin, who served as state party chairman in the early 1970s, said he created www.gogosselin.com based on positive responses he received to a letter to the editor criticizing Bush's policy on Iraq (news - web sites).

In an e-mail Monday, Gosselin said New Hampshire could send a warning similar to the one delivered by Pat Buchanan (news - web sites), who did surprisingly well in the 1992 New Hampshire primary against President George H. Bush

6. Welcome La_Serpiente
You are the first 1st-time poster in my recollection with a sigline. Hell, I still don't really understand how to do it. But Fuck Bu$h is a sentiment close to the heart of many here in Texas.

2. before this administration,
I have never really despised Republicans - I have felt that they were misguided and seemed somehow emotionally crippled and unable to grasp any version of reality that conflicted with theirs, but never thought that they embodied evil - well - the neo-cons do embody evil - if you look up evil in the dictionary you find a picture of Richard Perle - so I find this rather refreshing -- that the 'pubs would take their party back from the radical element that has taken it over --

thanks for the post!

7. Actually...
... here in the heart of central IL, I know a great many Repugs who are, shall we say, 'DEEPLY troubled' by * and his gang of thugs. I first encountered them last fall while working for Gov. Blagoevic's election, and was amazed at the favorable (or at least polite) reception I received from so many. Some of them MUST have voted Dem, because we defied the national trend and hit the 'trifecta', sweeping all three branches of state government for the first time in 30+ years.

13. I would say 20% would be needed
to make a difference and raise some eyebrows, by which I mean a 20% combined vote for some other Republican than Bush.
