U.S. to create list of 'unstable' nations
Is the USA on the list????

WASHINGTON, March 29 (UPI) -- U.S. intelligence experts are preparing a list of 25 countries deemed unstable and, thus, candidates for intervention.

The National Intelligence Council, a State Department office that collates intelligence for strategic planning, will compose and revise the secret list every six months, the Financial Times reported Tuesday.

1. Is the USA first on the list?
Because we need to be invaded to straighten ourselves out! And for crying out loud, WHAT is it going to TAKE to rouse the masses from their "Desperate Housewives" slumber?

2. What's the matter, the phrase Axis of Evil getting a little worn?
Without any help from Intelligence, we all can make up that list of which countries BushCo feels are unstable and need to be under the control of the US corporate elites.

5. What the hell does "unstable" mean?
I'm sure the list will include Cuba, North Korea, and Iran. All of which have stable systems of government.

Maybe unstable = Not friendly to American corporate interests....

8. USA nomba ONE - no?
.

.

Besides

Who in the REST of the world is going to pay much attention to this "list"?

oh

noone

I see it is going to be "secret"

Iraq WAS stable - even if it WAS run by a dictator - at least it was IRAQ's dictator - not the USA's . .

Now Iraq is about as UNSTABLE as one could imagine thanks to Junior and Billions of US taxpayer's $$$$

USA's "intelligence" is not exactly respected world-wide ya know . . .

Wunder why . . . :freak:

13. Well, considering our recent "domestic terrorists" list...
You know: the list that named 'Earth First' as a terrorist group,
but didn't name a single group which spawned people who FIREBOMBED women's clinics and ASSASINATED doctors....

The LIST which failed to notice a single "White-Rights" organization, not limited to but INCLUDING the lovely folks who supported and SUPPLIED Tim McVeigh and Terry Nichols...

EarthFirst:
A bit upset that 17% of American women have enough Mercury in their system to cause birth defects...

Government says.......RADICAL TERRORISTS!!!

Aryan Nation: Love Hitler, hate freedom, spawned the largest single BOMBING in US history...

Government says..."who? huh? Why are you asking me this? Why do you hate freedom?"

SO, I, speaking as an American citizen, have complete confidence that this latest list of potential enemies will reflect all the insight and competence that have been hallmarks of the Bush Administration.

14. The Axis of Maybe?
History has seen plenty listmakers. There will always be someone at the edge for their next list. Listmakers don't stop until they eat their young.

15. Venezuela?
Is this why were hearing noises about troops home sooner than later?

If Bush has to retreat in ignomy from Iraq, then he'll need a distraction (and easy victory) elsewhere.

18. Oil Rich nations not ruled by US-owned dictators....
Too many democracies out there. Healthy or struggling--democracy is a threat to colonialism.

Let's not forget how Bush initially came to power. Democracy was subverted in Florida & the US Supreme Court.

20. Will they be our best customers for weapons?

I expect the list will be preferred customers for selling weapons to them and their neighbors.

Pakistan unstable? Barely governed? Sell them jets! Their neighbors complain? Sell them jets too!

21. Kick
Here is a bit more:

Mr Pascual told a two-day conference last week on Reconstructing and Stabilising War-Torn States, organised by the independent US Institute of Peace, that the NIC would identify countries of "greatest instability and risk", to clarify priorities and allocate resources.

The watch-list was classified, according to a spokesperson. However, another official gave the example of conflict-torn Nepal, saying it was the subject of a special study on fragile states by USAID, the government aid agency. USAID declined to comment.

23. USA #1
Seems to me that U.S. policies, in the last 4 years or so, have done more to cause countries to build up their arsenals than anything else. We've gone, in a very short period of time, to being well liked to being well hated. Even India, which Bush had won over because of our middle east policies, is now annoyed at us because of our F-16 sales to Pakistan. Its like they HAVE to do something to p_ss every country off.
