You know that the right-wingers will be desperate for a Judas-goat. Foaming-at-the-mouth desperate. Given that public opinion is decidedly against them on this, who will they blame? Tom Delay equates (in that inimitable logic he often springs on us) Terri Schiavo's imminent death to his own persecution. Will it get any stranger than that? Will there be a shit-storm? Whatever happens, I think it will blow over quickly (but maybe not quietly) and Terri Schiavo will be relegated to the marginalia of the GOP mind. Sad, indeed.
