UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - An eagerly awaited U.S. inquiry is expected to report finding "documentary evidence" that Iraq (news - web sites) had chemical and biological weapons programs but no proof of actual arms themselves, a senior U.S. official said on Wednesday.

The report by David Kay, who served as a U.N. nuclear inspector in Iraq in 1991, "generally will be about chemical and biological weapons and I think he's going to find evidence, documentary evidence, statements by Iraqi scientists and technicians, that they had chemical and biological weapons production programs," the official told Reuters.

"Whether they will find or disclose anything on the weapons themselves, I doubt," he added.

1. When bundled together, paper can be quite a weapon.
Take 10 million Iraqi documents that contain the word "weapons", "of", "mass", and "destruction", bundled them up in 100 lb lots.....I think you can see that there was a huge potential capability.

2. Not to mention the potential for mass paper cuts.
And those things can hurt like hell.

3. for 2 weeks now -- bush and others
have been saying they think kay will actually find the weapons{and failing that ''the programs}. they had backed off that claim for a minute and now they are saying it again.
i think kay is up to something -- he had his marching orders and he is a good soldier in the corporate facist army.
i think he will ''find'' the weapons.
