Some of Florida’s top officials are expressing concerns about the Governor’s (Jeb Bush's) plan to get rid of the state’s death row defenders and farm the work out to private lawyers.

Florida Supreme Court Justice Raoul Cantero says the attorneys hired recently to handle death cases are responsible for some of the worst legal work he’s ever seen…… and Cantero says those inexperienced lawyers are slowing down the entire execution process.

Senate President Tom Lee says the justice’s remarks carry a lot of weight in the legislature.

"The Supreme Court is all we have between the constitutionality of the death penalty process here in the state of Florida and our laws. If they lose confidence in our system then we might lose the death penalty,” says Senate President Lee.

For people interested in seeing how certain people in Florida like to see their Justice System working, here's a graphic look at one of their prisoners from the recent past, when they were still using "Old Sparky" to kill their death row prisoners. You may recall reading that one of their guests was honored by having his head burst into flames.

Don't look if you're squeamish. Someone has to start cleaning up our politician's mistakes someday. This one is filthy.

Jeb Bush appointed Supreme Court Justice Raoul Cantero, who is the grandson of Cuba's vicious, brutal, corrupt U.S.-supported dictator, Fulgencio Batista.

There are some very ugly people in Florida's government right now. I'm amazed by the quote:

Someone's trying to steal their precious death penalty, poor, poor things. Izzatso? They're trying to rush so many through they're getting behind.

They had to release one death row prisoner last year after acknowledging they had never had the evidence to convict him, after fighting his release for several years. Jeezus.

one facing the death penalty? He wouldn't let a poor woman off life support, but he hankers to kill convicted (even though possibly innocent) prisoners.
