According to Danish public service television it was the driver of the car who was killed in the blast, which took place nine miles west of the capital.

"There is hardly anything left of the car and a car does not blow itself up that way," a police officer on duty was quoted as saying.

No, for a car to "blow itself up that way" you need an NBC news crew to wire up a squib to help make the case for exploding fuel tanks -or- a more serious car bomber trying to kill a mark.

Seriously, I hope the victim was the bomber and not an innocent mark.
