Serial Rapist in Ohio Pleads Guilty to All Counts

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A man accused of raping 37 women pleaded guilty Tuesday during jury selection for his trial.
Robert N. Patton, 42, entered the pleas to 135 charges of rape, kidnapping, burglary and robbery. He has confessed to media and police that he raped several dozen women in Columbus since 1987.

Sentencing was scheduled Wednesday; the prosecutor said he would recommend a 50-year sentence.

you have a lot of other choices when searching for words to convey the political ramifications of the past two presidential elections. (Pillage, plunder, fuck over, deracinate, annihilate, sow with salt, etc.,...)

Let's not dilute the word rape. Women who have been raped need that word to retain all its visceral impact and specific meaning in our culture and in our legal system. When everything is a rape, then nothing is.

Yeah, I realize he's 42 now and he probably won't live long enough to get out of jail. I just can't personally support a 4-month sentence for rape.

Odd how the Amish girl Mary Blyler's brother who openly admitted to raping her 50-75 times (she says 100-150) got off on ten years probation!#@$%!!.

So as long as you stick to the same woman it's okay...it's when you switch up that the courts get huffy??? WTF?
