Schwarzenegger, Under Pressure From Rival, Tries to Woo Conservatives

LOS ANGELES (AP) - California Republicans gathered for their state convention Saturday amid intensifying calls for the party to unite behind one of its two major candidates in the campaign to replace Gov. Gray Davis.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's supporters are trying to persuade party members to rally behind their candidate, who leads state Sen. Tom McClintock in the polls. But McClintock is favored by the party's conservative base, which worries about Schwarzenegger's more moderate social views on issues such as abortion and domestic partnerships.

8. Heard Ahhnol on TV Repig Conference.....Speaking...

Was introduced by Mrs. StripTease Bono. She called for McClintock to unite the party. Meaning to drop out. StripTease Bono got into politics by luck, so she wants Ahhnol to do the same.

Ahhnol talked about his childhood days in Austria, when he helped his father give water to Russian refugees entering Austria. Refugees running away from communism.....Ahhnol sounded more as if he was relating a WWII scene to some other historical even. His father was actually a Nazi and Ahhnol was probably not even born during WWII. During WWII, Russia was our ally. His whole presentation is questionable and besides, I could hardly understand with his hard accent. His accent is as annoying as Henry Kissinger's.
