Activists plan 1-day boycott on spending
WATERVILLE -- Preparations are under way for an Inauguration Day protest that would be held not with words, but with wallets.

A Waterville-based activist group is calling on Mainers to join 'Not One Damn Dime Day' by spending nothing on Jan. 20, when President Bush is formally inducted to his second White House term.

Picking up on a national movement, the Waterville Area Bridges for Peace and Justice group is calling for a 24-hour boycott of all consumer spending that day.

4. Suggestion: Why not repost this idea
at General Discussion, under the heading "NOT ONE DAMN DIME DAY" so that more people get a chance to see it? I think it is a great idea, but it needs legs.
