While we're working on democracy over there, we've got a little work on democracy to do over here. (Standing ovation) You know, I don't know about you, but I've seen about enough of vote challengers and vote protectors. You know, it is an outrage that in America, in America, any voter should have reason to doubt their vote. So here's a new idea. How about if we actually build the best election system money can buy so that the next time you choose the leader of the free world you don't have any doubt that when you go to the polls you're going to be able to vote, you gonna to be able to vote quickly, and you have absolutely no doubt that your vote was counted in the election. That's what we believe in.

It's about time, isn't it. Seriously, Edwards was ready to rumble election night. I don't blame him a bit with his wife's health problems coming up. He would be THE BEST standard bearer for this...and he's a great trial attorney. He'd mop the floor with anyone who opposed him.

But I changed my avatar from Edwards to Boxer because of her vote to challenge the election and because Edwards kind of dropped out of the picture. But if he keeps this up I may have to change back.

It agonized him to know that he was the elected Vice President denied his office.

Kerry is used to knowing the scam of political theater and dirty tricks over the last 20 years.

Look for Kerry to bring the Downing Street Memo to the floor of the Senate on Monday and offer a face-saving excuse for traditional conservatives to peel away from the Fundie wingnuts in order to save their GOP-asses in 2006.
