Know your BFEE: War Profiteers
George Bush is a satanic, sadistic, brutal monster.
Compared to George Bush, Adolf Hitler was a true gentleman.

Michael Boren Williams, former Campaign Manager for Senator Gary Hart
and Bush murder attempt victim.

Beware the Bush Family Evil Empire. Despite what their fine PR agencies say about a culture of life, these people make money off of death. Its nothing personal its strictly business. In World War I, a Bush was head of the Ordnance, Small Arms and Ammunition section of the War Industries Board. GOOGLE SAMUEL-PRESCOTT-BUSH for more.

Of course, these predecessors of what today is termed the BFEE the owners and operators of the Global Military-Intelligence-Industrial-Financial Complex helped bring about World War II by helping arm Hitler:

13. Thanks, G_j! Hey, didjahear'bout "The Family Horribillis"?
The Bush Family Tree : Consider Again For The First Time

"The past is not dead. In fact, it is not even past." - William Faulkner

Robert L. Knowles

EXCERPT...

Having been a family psychotherapist for 35 years, and teaching Marriage and Family Systems at the University level for 25 years, I have done thousands of these genograms. Both clients and students are often greatly surprised discovering things they did not know, both about themselves and their families, and this process going back for several generations. These explorations and discoveries, undertaken by what might be termed student detectives, are often shockingly revelatory when family patterns suddenly appear, almost as latent images that arise on the paper during photographic development. Is it a surprise that many of our scientific researches are bringing us back to where we started with ancient insights, revealing that it is indeed a ghost-haunted world?

SNIP...

Each of the following items is no more than a fragmentary look at the Bush family history. Each topic alone could be expanded to produce volumes of information. We know that the Bush family organizes around: money, power, loyalty, politics, business, secretiveness, family name repetition, religiosity, and so on. The following may appear surprising, perhaps even dark, both to supporters and dissenters. But, we know some of the boughs of the tree as they are on public display. What we mostly do not know are the roots, and getting to the roots necessarily involves contact with soil. This, therefore, may be thought a necessary counterbalance to the standard and authorized public line of the family, which might as well be, Out of sight, out of mind. (For ease of reference, George W. Bush is referred to as 43, and his father, George Herbert Walker Bush, as 41, and his father, Prescott Sheldon Bush, as Prescott):

Great sociality 43, a cheerleader, a Good Time Charley, remembers names and makes diminutives of them that are more humiliating than endearing (e.g., Kenny Boy for Ken Lay, etc.), a fellow you might like to have a beer with, his openly recognized dependency on liquor to fortify himself on college dates was well known; 41, an outstanding athlete in a number of sports, remembers names, thus cementing his wide social web; Prescott, great socializer, dancer, walker, runner, sportsman, and said to simply look more senatorial than any Senator (At his insistence, the children were not to call him, Father, or Dad. Only one salutation was acceptable: Senator.); George Herbert Walker, 43s great, grand-father, was president of the United States Golf Association (USGA) in 1920, The Walker Cup, is named after him.

SNIP...

Financial connections In 1919, George Herbert Walker, a pugilist with a pugilistic personality, and wealthy businessman and clothier from St. Louis, joined W.A. Harriman & Co. Bank, with Averell Harriman; family connections entwine with Brown Brothers, Harriman, the largest private investment bank in America and a partner in the Union Banking Corporation; Harriman was directly involved with the Hamburg-Amerika Line (a Nazi front group), Soviet oil and military interests of the U.S.S.R; before and during the presidential campaign of 43, Enron was, and had been since the mid-1980s, his biggest contributor.

SNIP...

We leave mostly unmentioned such things as national security connections, low levels of intellectual curiosity, verbal communication difficulties, broad repetition of names in family (a model that is set, in part, for succeeding generations), marital infidelity, alcoholism and drug addictions, penuriousness, and oil, etc. (Unhappily, et cetera is a feeble phrase that must needs cover a lot of ground.) These roots brought up to be seen are only some of the Bush familys genetic hologram.

14. Hey, Bruce! Remember what Cicero said about war?
Jesus was pretty profound on similar subjects, as well.

On Bush Nepotism And American War-Profiteering

By Evan Augustine Peterson III, J.D.
February 25, 2005

"For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"
- Jesus the Christ, The Bible at Mark 8:36 (NJKV)

"The sinews of war are endless profits."
- Cicero, Orationes Philippic, v (c. 60 B.C.)

How have the upper classes in every ostensibly Christian society managed to sustain the blatantly immoral practice of war-profiteering? In the American context, this question can be reduced to a twenty-first century version of Cicero's maxim: "How does our military-industrial complex make predatory killing so lucrative for its war profiteers?" Toward answering that question, it will be useful to examine the Bush Family Dynasty's most recent war-profiteering activities. <1> <2>

A Glimpse Into The Bush Family Dynasty's War-Profiteering Modus Operandi.

George "Dubya" Bush's paternal uncle, William H.T. "Bucky" Bush of St. Louis, recently managed to profit from his nephew's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the amount of $450,000.00. How? Through his seat on the board of a St. Louis-based defense contractor, Engineered Support Systems Incorporated ("ESSI").

"Bucky" Bush was appointed to ESSI's Board of Directors in 2000, for which ESSI promptly remunerated him with 8,438 stock options. <3> Over the next five years the price of ESSI's stock soared 1,000%. Why? Largely because the Bush administration, beginning in 2002, had awarded several hundred million dollars worth of no-bid, sole-source, gold-plated military contracts to ESSI. Hence, Bucky's stock options were worth nearly a half million dollars when he decided to cash them in on January 18, 2005.

Bush Nepotism 101.

Dan Kreher, ESSI's Vice President for Industrial Relations, acknowledged that: (1) his company routinely lobbies for government defense contracts in Washington, DC; and (2) "Having a Bush doesn't hurt. ... It certainly doesn't hurt to have people who know who to talk to." When translated from Corporatespeak to colloquial English, this means: "Uncle Bucky sure did create a gold mine for ESSI when he got his nephew, Dubya, to punch our ticket on the war-profiteers' gravy train!"

Unsurprisingly, Bucky has denied that he telephoned anyone in Washington to win those government contracts for ESSI. Quoth the uncle: "I don't make calls to the 202 area code!" Sure. As if we didn't know that plausible-denial-through-linguistic-trickery is an indispensable component of the Bush Family Dynasty's oeuvre! Perhaps Bucky is merely floating this sophomoric Whopper of Mass Deception: (1) while he himself called neither the White House nor the Pentagon directly; (2) he failed to disclose that he did call Houston, whereupon he successfully persuaded his older brother, George H.W. "Poppy" Bush, to telephonically lobby at least one key Washington official -- like, say, Dubya or Rummy -- concerning ESSI's pressing contractual needs.

27. Oh Yeah! It's not just Cicero, but also Sun Tzu and The Art Of War...
In very simple terms he talks about how keeping an army in the field for any length of time will bankrupt a country.
Why do we have to relearn such basic ideas? Is George so narcissistic or just plain dumb he can't figure this out by himself?
Oh, yeah, I forgot! That's what Dick is for, all that "figuring out" stuff.
It doesn't matter if we win or lose or how many American soldiers are killed, but how much money the BFEE and the "have-mores" make. It was true in both the First and Second World Wars, and it's true today. All the rest is smoke and mirrors.

Treason.

The Bush Crime Family: Three Generations of Treason

By Randy Lavello

EXCERPT...

Why is it that picking up a gun and firing upon U.S. troops in wartime is considered treason, but financing the production of thousands of guns, munitions, tanks, and aircraft is not considered a treasonous act? Well, since you werent convicted by our government, Ill convict you with my words: you, Prescott, were guilty in your lifetime of treason against the United States and your tomb bears the blood of veterans who died fighting the Nazis.

So Prescott had a son, and named him George - he became president of the United States but first he became a vile criminal. Lets not even speak of the Iran-Contra scandal or his membership in the Nixon Administration during Watergate. Lets skip the fact that he was ambassador to the U.N. in the seventies, then, during his presidency, he scandalously pledged his support for the establishment of a New World Order. Coincidentally, when the Taliban and Saddam Hussein were trained, funded, and empowered - Bush was director of the CIA and Vice President. These are all common crimes in comparison to the Bushes malevolent standard lets instead concentrate on the events of late March 1981.

James Baker, a member of Reagans cabinet at the time, stated, Bush is functioning much like a co-president. This after George Sr. aspired to become president by running against Reagan in the Republican primaries. Here is evidence of a desire for power, then a taste of power. On Monday, the 30th of March 1981, George Bush Sr. was in the Hotel where John F. Kennedy Jr. spent the final night of his life. Coincidence? Maybe George wanted to spend some time alone and reflect on the post-Kennedy years when he, Kissinger, and their fellow war-hawks were finally able to pass their agendas- such as committing to war in Southeast Asia. Anyway, it was on this bizarre Monday in March that a fellow named John Hinckley Jr. shot President Reagan, lodging a bullet in his chest less than an inch from his heart. When there is an attempt to assassinate our President, isnt the Vice President the most likely suspect?

John Hinckley Jr.s family donated substantial amounts of money to Bush during the 1980 primaries when he ran for President Neil Bush admitted this. Coincidence? On March 31st The Houston Post ran a story that read, Scott Hinckley, the brother of John Hinckley Jr., who is charged with shooting President Reagan and three others, was to have been a dinner guest Tuesday night at the home of Neil Bush, son of Vice President George Bush, The Houston Chronicle has learned. As if this werent enough evidence, Neil and John Hinckley both were proven to have lived in Lubbock, Texas in 1978 how many sons of energy barons just happened to live in that town? (Its appropriate to mention that Neil was implicated in the Silverado Savings and Loan scandal.) As the final touch to this surreal scenario, Bush, as leader of the cabinet, came to the decision that this was not part of a domestic conspiracy! Its just like Janet Renos investigation of wrongdoings at Waco, when she was in charge of the murders committed there! Are we to believe that the Bush family was close with the bin Ladens and the Hinckleys and that both families had a rogue member whose violent acts just happened to help advance the political careers of Bushes?

The fact that there was no investigation into these incriminating facts nearly proves that the Bush family knew of Hinckleys impending assassination attempt. George Bush Sr., you are guilty of high treason and should receive retribution for your vile lust for power.

EXCERPT...

When George Bush, Sr. was the Vice President, he was involved in secretly selling weapons to our enemy Iran (see: http://www.fas.org/irp/offdocs/walsh/execsum.htm ).The money from the weapons sales went to build a secret army that was trying to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. This resulted in years of violence and slaughter for many thousands of Central Americans, and it allowed thousands of tons of drugs to be dumped on the streets of America. When he was president, George Bush, Sr. gave a presidential pardon to the others who were involved in the Iran-Contra scandal.

If I didn't know it was the BFEE, I'd have a hard time believing one group was capable of so many, um, interesting business dealings. Here's something from Poppy's baby brother, Billy Bush:

Bush uncle gets profit on defense stock sale

Matt Kelley
Associated Press
Thursday, February 24, 2005

Washington - President Bush's uncle made more than $450,000 last month by selling stock in a defense contractor firm whose profits are growing because of the Iraq war, records show.

William H.T. Bush made the money by exercising stock options in St. Louis-based Engineered Support Systems Inc. Bush is a member of ESSI's board of directors and therefore had to report the sale to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bush, the youngest brother of former President George H.W. Bush, did not return a telephone message seeking comment Wednesday. He told the Los Angeles Times, which first reported the stock sale Wednesday, that he had not pulled any strings in Washington for the company.

ESSI on Tuesday reported record income of $20.6 million for the three months ending Jan. 31, a 31 percent increase. The company said the expansion came mainly from increases in ESSI's military contracts. Those include adding armor to military trucks, refurbishing trailers the Army uses to haul tanks and supporting satellite communications for troops in war zones, ESSI CEO Gerald Potthoff said in a statement.

Bush cashed in stock options on Jan. 20, weeks before the company's latest earnings report. SEC documents show he sold 8,438 shares of ESSI stock at a profit of $53.36 a share. That's a total of $450,251.68.

20. Bush Links the DEM and GOP MI-Complex Cash Register
TheBushesandtheHarrimansandtheDullesesarelikethis. That's how all them NAZIs got rich and powerful before World War II and how they came over to live in America and thrive in Republican politics after.

Bush, Harriman the Dulleses ave done a lot of stuff in making wars happen. In our day, World War II, the Cold War, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Gulf Oil War I, illegal Iraq invasion.

The BFEE in the form of the elite-owned and operated military-industrial complex creates wars. They do this through staged events, such as the phony Gulf of Tonkin Incident for Vietnam and the doctored satellite photos showing Saddam's army on the Saudi border.

The BFEE also like to keep wars going, such as when Saddam offered to resign and flee the country was rejected early in 2003 (Brit Billionaire Branson the Virgin had something to do with it).

That's quite a line up of evil. Regardless of what satanic master the members of the BFEE serve, they will need to continue their work on behalf of death as the reawakened Reich. And for them to continue building on 9-11, they may need yet another Pearl Harbor.

Most importantly: Thanks, smirkymonkey!

25. Thanks, frictionless0! Here's some opinion: Bushes Dripping with Blood...
...based on evidence:

From corporate crimes to murder in Iraq

Crimes of the Bush dynasty

EXCERPT...

To paraphrase Karl Marx, the Bushes truly came to us dripping from head to foot with blood and dirt. The Bushes claim an ancestry that goes back to British royalty. But the rotten modern house of Bush began with George W. Bushs maternal great-grandfather, George H. Walker.

Walker was president of Wall Street-based W.A. Harriman & Co. He made his fortune as a war profiteer, working alongside the House of Morgan in purchasing billions in armaments for Britain and France during the First World War. In a foreshadowing of things to come, Walker got a taste for the emerging importance of oil as the engine of profits and war when he oversaw the rebuilding of the Baku oil fields after the war in the 1920s.

At his peak, Walker was the director of 17 corporations and maintained homes around the country--including a 10,000-acre hunting preserve in South Carolina, where according to his granddaughter, "We were waited on by the most wonderful Black servants."

Dubyas other great grandfather, Yale graduate Samuel Bush, was the president of the Ohio-based Buckeye Steel. Like Walker, Samuel Bush made his fortune during the First World War by producing material for small arms. Of course, it helped that Samuel became head of the Ordnance, Small Arms and Ammunition Section of the federal governments War Industries Board in 1918.

Not unlike a virus, each generation has produced a deadlier strain of Bush. George W. Bushs grandfather was Prescott Bush. He became his father-in-laws heir apparent at the merged firm of Brown Brothers Harriman. Prescott Bush handled the "German work" for Brown Brothers in the 1930s, raking in a fortune by rearming Hitlers Germany.

War Is Sell - Washington's Power Elite Are the Beneficiaries of War

The Bush family is getting financially fat off the "war on terrorism."

Exclusive to American Free Press
By Christopher Bollyn

War has always been a profitable money machine for shrewd investors with foresight, but the extremely close connections of the Carlyle Group, a Washington-based private equity investment firm and major war profiteer, to the Bush and bin Laden families-and the current occupant of the White House-raise unavoidable questions of waging war for profit.

Established in 1987 the Carlyle Group was founded by David Rubenstein, a former staff member in the Jimmy Carter White House, and his two partners, Dan D'Aniello and Bill Conway. Today there are 18 partners in the firm and one outside investor. The Washington Post has described Carlyle as a "merchant banking firm" set up "to serve corporations and wealthy families." From the beginning the founders of Carlyle have recruited former politicians as consultants: former President George H. W. Bush is among them-along with a host of other Bush family cronies.

The Bush connection to the Carlyle Group is nothing short of a scandal, according to Larry Klayman, a notable government watchdog best known for pursuing the scandals of former President Bill Clinton.

Now that the United States is bombing Afghanistan and allocating huge sums of money for defense, including $40 billion for the "war on terrorism" and more than $200 billion <1994 dollars> for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), the conflict of interest is "direct," Klayman says. "President Bush should not ask but demand that his father pull out of the Carlyle Group."

SNIP...

"Carlyle is as deeply wired into the current administration as they can possibly be," Charles Lewis, executive director of the Center for Public Integrity, said. "George Bush is getting money from private interests that have business before the government, while his son is president. And, in a really peculiar way, George W. Bush could, some day, benefit financially from his own administration's decisions, through his father's investments. The average American doesn't know that. To me, that's a jaw-dropper."

Thanks, FrustratedDemInNC! While there may be two sides to every question, one is usually more correct than the other. Thus Kevin (GOP Southern Strategy author) Phillip's responds to a critic of his Bush Dynasty thesis:

A BUSH DEFENDER REBUTS ALLEGATIONS ABOUT THE FAMILY'S TIES TO THE INTELLIGENCE SERVICES AND PRE-WORLD WAR TWO GERMANY

By Kevin Phillips

EXCERPT...

Unfortunately, Schweizer must know nothing about the period or the Harriman-Walker-Bush business relationships. And, of course, this is not material that his patrons would have fed him. Turning to his comments set out above, there were never two Bushes involved with Harriman; there was George Herbert Walker, who became president of W. A. Harriman & Co. in 1919, and Prescott Bush, who became its vice president in 1926. Most, but not all, of the German-linked companies were established by Walker and Harriman between 1920 and 1926, including the Union Banking Corporation, set up for Germanys Thyssen steel interests, In the early 1930s, after W.A. Harriman & Co. became Brown Brothers Harriman through a merger, Walker semi-retired and Bush took over some of his responsibilities. Harriman did not manage the firms foreign investments; underlings did. Harriman had some of his foreign investments run through other corporate frameworks, and Prescott Bush was close enough to him to become a director of several. The current presidents grandfather was a director of both Union Banking Corporation and the Harriman Fifteen Corporation, which managed several foreign holdings during the 1930s. Prescott Bush was a director of Harriman Fifteen from 1931 through at least 1938, and he was a director of Union Banking Corporation from 1934 to 1942. A measure of how closely this Bush worked with Averell Harriman can be found in the list of directors of another unit, Harriman Thirty Corporation, for 1931-32: Averell Harriman and Prescott Bush were the sole names listed. George H. Walker, in turn, remained a director of Silesian-American and Silesian Holding Co., with Averell Harriman also a director off and on through the 1930s. These directorships may be confirmed in The Directory of Directors in the City of New York for the years in question. While Prescott Bush was a director of Union Banking (which had several trading affiliates), two of his fellow directors were H.J. Koewenhoven and J.G. Groeninger. They were described in the New York Herald-Tribune of July 31, 1941 as principal assistants to Fritz Thyssen and his war-mobilized German steel and transportation empire. Much more information can about these links can be found in appendices A and B of American Dynasty. Blaming Harriman (who was rarely at his investment firm) for everything is as phoney as a three-dollar bill. This is only the beginning.

SNIP...

Not quite. Buckeye did do well, because it had strong Rockefeller/Standard Oil connections (more on these some other time). John D. Rockefellers youngest brother, Frank, was the president of Buckeye in 1906-1908 just before Sam Bush took over (1908 through 1927). The information on Buckeyes gun-barrel and shell-casing-fattened war profits high enough that the company had dividends averaging 27 percent for the period 1916-1920" comes from Mansel G. Blackford, a Portrait Cast in Steel: Buckeye International and Columbus, Ohio, 1881-1980, p. 31. Blackford is a business historian at Ohio State. Buckeye did not profit in the extreme like Bethlehem Steel, but 27% dividends were sweet. As for Sam Bushs 1917-1919 involvement with the War Industries Board, Grosvenor B. Clarkson of the U.S. Council of National Defense described Bushs WIB role as follows in his 1923 book Industrial America in the World War (p. 247): He was drafted into Mr. Vauclains subcommittee of the Council of National Defense on army and navy artillery, was subsequently at the head of the War Industries Boards section on forging, guns, small arms and ammunition for the last; and in the last months of the war became chief of the facilities division. I guess this wasnt in the family hand-outs, either.

In the third matter, Schweizer contends that I say Prescott Bush was recruited in world of intelligence by a British spy and that Prescott Bush might have served as a shadow CIA director.

My two actual quotations are as follows. For the first one (p. 198), I said Author John Loftus, with his compendia of anonymous intelligence interviews, put the finger on Londons Whitehall, which hardly excluded New Haven: Prescott himself had served in military intelligence during World War One, liaising with the British. According to our sources, he was trained by Stuart Menzies, later the head of the British secret service during World War Two. Loftuss thesis is not implausible, because U.S.-British intelligence cooperation in the First World War was very close. However, I certainly dont know whether its correct. I cited it in a group of scenarios.

War profiteering has almost destroyed our democracy. Here's a little something from Arianna the Pundit from waaay back in '98:

Return of the War Profiteer

By Arianna Huffington
June 01, 1998

What the recent nuclear explosions in India and Pakistan demonstrate, above all else, is a failure of American leadership. The most essential quality of leadership is recognizing problems before they get more than 50 percent in a Gallup poll. But nuclear proliferation isn't even on the sheet of questions that the pollsters interrupt peoples' dinner with. And when even the CIA is caught dozing, is it any wonder the world was taken by surprise when South Asia suddenly went nuclear?

As for the President, he failed the country in three distinct ways: First, he failed to provide the nation with a coherent policy to counter nuclear weapons proliferation. Second, he failed to notice that he had failed to provide such a policy, or that the country might need one (what with the consequences being a possible nuclear Armageddon and all). Third, he has convinced a nation -- admittedly, one that's desperate to be convinced -- that a high Dow Jones means all's well. The country has, to borrow appropriately from Cheech and Chong, a good buzz going and our President doesn't want it ruined by anything as harsh as reality. It is the polar opposite of leadership as exemplified by Winston Churchill, who, worrying and warning about the Nazi threat, was considered an outcast for a good six years until Austria, and then Czechoslovakia suddenly disappeared.

It is very telling that among the first to rush to Clinton's defense has been dear old George Bush, a man who has lacked not only "the vision thing" but the imagination to recognize the darker side of human nature, especially when driven by the dictates of power. "I honestly find it very difficult to believe," said Bush at Harvard, "that anybody would do something that's not in the security interests of this country for a contribution to a political party." Would that it were that simple. Abuses of power occur because humans have an extraordinary capacity for rationalization and self-deception -- especially over something as fungible in peacetime as national security.

Every leader who has abused his power has devised some way to justify it to himself and to his inner circle of toadies. In Clinton's case, the lubricants that made the justifications slide -- oh so easily -- into his brain cells were the million-dollar-plus campaign contributions provided by Loral chief Bernard Schwartz.

Another family, from long ago...

The Father and His Sons

A FATHER had a family of sons who were perpetually quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks. When they had done so, he placed the faggot into the hands of each of them in succession, and ordered them to break it in pieces. They tried with all their strength, and were not able to do it. He next opened the faggot, took the sticks separately, one by one, and again put them into his sons' hands, upon which they broke them easily. He then addressed them in these words: "My sons, if you are of one mind, and unite to assist each other, you will be as this faggot, uninjured by all the attempts of your enemies; but if you are divided among yourselves, you will be broken as easily as these sticks."

Much obliged! And much appreciated, because that is EXACTLY why I do it -- state what's obvious to some, unknown to most.

In a democracy, the citizens require the truth. In the United States, that's even written into the Constitution -- a free press is the only business mentioned by name.

The Worlds Warmonger

by Garry Leech

According to the Bush administration, it is Venezuelan President Hugo Chvezs desire to purchase weapons from Russia that threatens to destabilize the Andean region, not the $3 billion in military aid that Washington has provided to Colombia over the past five years. Likewise, in the Middle East, it is Syrias efforts to obtain purely defensive anti-aircraft missiles that pose a threat to that region, not the $1 billion a year in U.S. military aid to Israel. And on the nuclear front, while there is no evidence that Iran is intending to build nuclear weapons, it is the regime in Tehran that is threatening to further destabilize the region, not President Bushs apparent pledge to support any future Israeli attack against Iran. Meanwhile, North Koreas withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in order to develop nuclear weapons makes the Asian nation a rogue state, but Washingtons abandonment of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (ABM) to build its missile defense system, which could lead to the weaponization of space, apparently does not justify the same anti-multilateralist label being applied to the United States.

In December 2004, the Bush administration sent a letter of protest to the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC, and also expressed its concern to Russias defense and foreign ministers about Moscows decision to sell AK-47 automatic weapons to Venezuela. The Bush administration claims that President Chvezs arms purchases pose a threat to neighboring Colombia and could lead to a regional arms race, destabilizing the Andean region. The Bush administration failed to note the possibly destabilizing consequences of Colombias recent massive U.S.-funded military build up.

One U.S. State Department spokesman stated: Venezuelas plans to purchase various types and large quantities of weapons are extremely troubling. And we believe that Venezuela should consult with its neighbors on such armament acquisitions. Which raises the obvious question: Has the United States ever suggested that the Colombian government consult with President Chvez or other regional leaders regarding the massive amounts of military aid it has received from Washington over the past five years? This answer is definitely not.

The Bush administration also contributed to increasing instability in the Andean region by supporting Colombias flagrant violation of Venezuelan sovereignty in December 2004. The U.S. Ambassador to Colombia William Wood stated that the United States supported the Uribe administration 100 percent, even after the Colombian government admitted lying when it initially announced that FARC guerrilla representative Rodrigo Granda had been arrested in the Colombian city of Ccuta. Instead, the Colombian government had paid mercenaries to kidnap Granda in the Venezuelan capital and smuggle him across the border.

36. Warmonger Defined
George W. Bush

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=warmonge...

Even the conservatives know. Along those lines of evil:

The W stands for Warmonger

By Stephan Veldhuis
CNU Libertarian

In Websters Dictionary, the word warmonger is defined as one who favors or tries to stir up war. Unfortunately, yet undeniably, President Bush has personified this term since his controversial inauguration in 2000, through his lamentable military endeavors, contentious rhetoric and his pugnacious proclivities. The self-titled wartime president seems to promote praetorian policies abroad in place of peaceful, diplomatic solutions that would seemingly acquiesce more to his compassionate conservative approach to government. Bush, a bellicose military leader, maintains a consistently ethnocentric view of America, employing troops for stints in the Middle East two and three times longer than originally scheduled. When questioned about the American causalities in Iraq during the 2004 presidential debate, Bush cited that he understood the pernicious nature of the war because he had been watching it on television. During the same debate, when asked what timetable he had in mind for withdrawing American troops from Iraq, President Bush stated that he would not impose artificial deadlines. Yet, while Bush was reiterating his rhetoric regarding artificial deadlines, hundreds more U.S. soldiers were receiving artificial limbs after incurring near fatal wounds, while still more died in the line of duty.

Well, so much for a compassionate conservative...

37. Sounds like a very brave man.
A Democrat, of course. Would all people were so brave.

Letter to Sean Lennon

Around 1971, I moved from L.A. to New York to do some musical work with your father. At the time, he was very involved in political activism, or what then-president ("dictator" would be a better word) Richard M. Nixon called "radical politics". As a result of my friendship with your father back then, I became a speech writer and fund raiser for Senator George McGovern's 1972 US presidential campaign. I reported directly to his campaign manager, Gary Hart. Due to my work with your father and McGovern, I ended up on the FBI's black list. They started separate files on your father and I which grew and grew.

The US government was out to get your father and I, and once they decide to go after someone, they never stop. The main person who was determined to get your father was former CIA Director George Bush, who became Reagan's vice-president. Actually, Reagan was a senile old man suffering from a variety of diseases, including Alzheimer's Disease, who was only acting as Bush's puppet.

Your father's own lawyers had advised him to "lay low" and stay out of music as well as politics, lest he place his life in jeopardy. He did just that for several years. When he released "Double Fantasy" in 1980, and word got out that he was about to re-enter the arena of political activism, his enemies were infuriated, and were determined to put an immediate stop to him once and for all.

On 8. December 1980, a CIA mind-controlled assassin whose name is not worthy of mentioning (though we both know it well), acting on orders which originated with George Bush, assassinated your father, and, like the mind-controlled puppet he was, calmly awaited the arrival of the police, when he could have easily gotten away.

In 1987, the same Gary Hart I'd worked with in 1971 asked me to manage his own 1988 US presidential campaign. I refused at first, but agreed after former CIA Director George Bush (who was running against Hart) forced Hart out of the race using a CIA "asset" named Donna Rice.

As a result of my having the temerity to stand up to George Bush and resurrect Gary Hart's presidential campaign, the following is a list of just a handful of some of the crimes which have been perpetrated against me by the US government under colour of "law":

38. Thanks, oasis! Hey! Didjahear'bout the BFEE 'n' Big Oil 'n' NAZI Germany?
It appears there WAS a reason for Bush, Harriman and Dulles sinking all that investment in Der Fuehrer. My source sounds as smart as a rocket scientist because he IS a rocket scientist:

The New U.S.-British Oil Imperialism

By Norman D. Livergood

EXCERPT...

To overcome the problem of his oil holdings being broken apart by the U.S. government in 1911, John Rockefeller set out to control the world's energy reserves. World War I was the strategy of the world oil cartel (Standard, Shell, British Petroleum) to take over the colonies of France, Holland, Spain and Portugal. The engines of war now ran on petroleum-based products, so ownership of oil could determine who won or lost a war--therefore who would rule the world. Oil, instead of gold, became the token of power.

By 1919, the Oil Empire, not based on countries or nations, but on private corporations, ruled the world.

The Big Three oil cartel, which controlled oil in the Persian Gulf and southeast Asia areas, wanted to gain control over the vast oil reserves in the southern part of the Soviet Union. They financed the fascist regimes in Germany, Italy, and Japan with the hope that they would invade and control Russia. The Oil Rulers planned to defeat the German, Italian, and Japanese regimes and take control of the oil reserves in the Soviet Union. The Rockefeller circle also planned to take control of Persian Gulf oil from the British-Persian Oil cartel and seize control of southeast Asian oil from Royal Dutch Shell.

The United States was brought into the second world war when in July 1941, President Roosevelt signed an embargo to stop all shipping to Japan. This was said to be in retaliation for the Japanese invasion of French Indo-China. Roosevelt's U.S. embargo cut off the Japanese oil supply, which would have quickly shut down Japan's entire economy. In late November 1941 the Japanese sent a written "war warning" through diplomatic channels to Washington, demanding that the embargo be stopped, or else American sites in the Pacific would be attacked in retaliation. That formal diplomatic warning was ignored and the U.S. made no reply. Just two weeks later the Japanese bombed the American embargo ships located in Pearl Harbor.

In 1939 and '40, the Germans and Italians did not attack Russia as the Big Three had planned. Instead, German General Rommel rushed across North Africa to grab the Suez Canal and control all oil shipping through the canal. Rommel then planned to drive through to Persia and toss out the British from the British-Persian oil fields. Meanwhile, after a failed attack on Russia in 1939, the Japanese swept through Southeast Asia and seized all the oil holdings of Royal Dutch Shell. With the defeat of Japan in 1945, most of those Royal Dutch fields came under the control of Rockefeller's Standard Oil.

47. Frauds-R-Us: A NAZI in the pocket is worth four in the Bush
A Nazi in the (pocket) is worth four in the Bush (family)

Prescott Bush, granpa of Dubya

What is interesting about the history of the Bush family are the connections; Avril Harriman, Allen Dulles, the Rockefellers (the start of the oil connection), James Baker III, Gulf Oil, Pennzoil, Osama bin Ladenon and on it goes.

A lapse of memory?

By William Bowles

05/07/03: (Information Clearing House) Its as well to remember that the Web never forgets, at least the US pres should take note of this fact and be careful of his utterances and how they can come back to haunt him. In fact four generations of Bush family history and too many skeletons in too many closets to count are to be found on the Web.

And given all the pullpit pounding (more of which below) by ol Duyba and his minions, over the dubious moral character of Saddam and his cronies, much of which has underpinned the justification for the invasion and occupation of Iraq, its as well to compare the two sets of rogues. Not surprisingly, theres little to choose between the two except that, in the case of the Bush gang, they have a pedigree in perfidy which extends back almost a century and four generations that makes Saddam look positively angelic by comparison.

Prescott Bush setting a family example

In a previous piece (http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article3243.ht... ) a quote I used mentioned Prescott Bush the present press granpa (http://www.americanpolitics.com/20030210Koop.html ) so I decided to do a little researching to see what other dirty little secrets the Bush family have hidden in the dark recesses of the WWW and lo and behold, theres a load of stuff out there (7,630 links to be precise, according to good ol google just on granpa Prescott Bush).

Geronimo!

Its 1918 and, well you know students, theyre always up to innocent pranks. It seems Grandpa Bush set his grandson some fine family precedents starting with digging up Geronimos skull,

"In 1918, Prescott Bush and two companions crept into the cemetery near Fort Sill and pried open the grave of Geronimo.

49. Thanks, oasis! Hey! Money to burn. Where does OIL fit in?
Lot of love from the BFEE for petrodollars, with bad reason:

Oil for dollars, and dollars for US deficit

by Richard Benson
Asia Times Online, 9 April 2005

The Asians remain shocked and in disbelief. Just when Japan, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong had accumulated enough dollars to buy oil to keep them warm for many winters, it's all over. In broad daylight, the Americans and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) cheered as the price of oil popped up from US$30 a barrel to more than $50.

Indeed, this jump in the price of oil increases the world's daily oil consumption bill of 84 million barrels a day to $4.2 billion, from $2.5 billion (or $1.5 trillion a year from $900 billion). The world now has to shell out an additional $600 billion a year of "lucky bucks" to oil-producing countries just to stay in motion.

The bigger shock, however, is in the devaluation of dollar holdings of US Treasury debt. The rise in oil prices guarantees that the value of the US dollar will be pushed down even further, and stay down. Now that China is the No 2 oil importer and Japan is No 3 - with the rest of Asia very thirsty for oil as well - you can understand why the Asians must find a way to protect themselves.

The US strategy for using oil to finance its deficit is, of course, brilliant. America's elected officials knew that at some point those independent foreign central banks would start getting edgy about buying more dollars to pay for the United States' war and deficits. The $650 billion trade deficit is breathing down the dollar's neck. So which central banks can the US continue to use as the fall guys to buy the dollar? Why not the Persian Gulf oil states - but where would they get the dollars to buy US Treasuries? Well, with the Chinese piling up dollars and growing like crazy, at some point the oil market had to tighten. It was only a matter of time before the Chinese would start bidding up the price of oil. The Asians, therefore, are hung out to dry when the price of oil rises because they have to spend more of their dollars on oil.

As the price of oil goes up, extra money floods into the Gulf kingdoms. With the US secretary of defense putting troops all over the ground in the Middle East, and those nimble aircraft carriers nearby and ready to deliver the "shock and awe of sudden democracy" to the Gulf monarchs, it's a sure bet that America's OPEC buddies will stash their newly found Asian lucky bucks into good old American Treasury notes.
