61. If he could be a running mate for a decent progressive candidate (Feingold,Sanders, etc.)

I've actually been saying this for months... I might see that as a ticket that could gather a lot of independents and still have the right spirit at its core of working against the corporatists... Might work if two personalities can come together somehow and forge a coalition where they can agreeing on issues.

He might have to cede some of his more Libertarian views here and there, but judging from what he just wrote here, I think his priorities might be more focused on what someone like Bernie Sanders might have, and I think they might both come together on most issues that they really want to emphasize.

I don't really want Ventura heading a ticket, but I think he would be someone you could negotiate with to get the stuff we need to make sure we have a safety net, etc. that Ron Paul wouldn't, and be a good running mate.

Put it this way, as much as I like Ron Paul on some issues like his anti-war stances and demands for transparency, he definitely couldn't work as part of a ticket for our party with his more hard core Libertarian views in other areas. I think Ventura would ba a far better option, and my gut feeling tells me he might be more flexible to adapt to a Democratic viewpoint that we need to have a strong government providing a decent safety net for us that Paul wouldn't.
