The Naderite/Green/Socialist/Marxist fringe loonies that hate the Democratic Party are always calling themselves "The Base", like if you say it enough times, it will turn into reality.

Any time they feel in the least way slighted, the backstabbing commences on actual Democrats.

They can stay home and pout, they won't be missed in 2012, others are there to pick up the miniscule slack in voting they might leave.


The actual base of the Democratic Party will donate, volunteer, and get out the vote for Democrats while the rest of them stare at their navels while awaiting the coming Socialist Worker's Paradise.
