Art Bell Disassociates Himself from Coast to Coast
Advertisements [?]
For some reason, or maybe for some OBVIOUS reason, Art Bell had chosen to break his ties with his baby, Coast to Coast AM. (see sources below).

I am not surprised, but I am profoundly saddened. George Noory had destroyed what was a great dynasty where intelligent people could discuss the mysteries that bemuse us in an intelligent way. Coast to Coast has deteriorated into a pathetic circus where Noory agrees with all of his guests, even when they are diametrically opposed in their views. He believes little people live in the center of the earth, that Global Warming is a fantasy, and that everything that the sociopath Alex Jones says is true. Coast to Coast used to be a haven for thinking, but it has disintegrated into an intellectual graveyard where there is less evidence for evolution than creationism, and Mr. Noory believes more that there are giants living in the forests of the North West than there is evidence for the Theory of Relativity.

"As of December 18, 2010, Art was no longer listed as a host on the Coast to Coast website; his shows were no longer searchable under his name; and the only references to Bell on the site are of an historical or archival nature. (Somewhere In Time with Art Bell continues to run on Saturday nights before the live show.)
On 12/21/10 the "HamCam" on Art's ham radio website<27> featured an image with the following cryptic wording: "The Wind No Longer Blows, in the End it was Without Direction. Long Live the Hot Air. 30"<28> Fans on Art-centric comment boards have identified "30" as "a sign-off when a Ham has their final transmission from a particular location."<29> Other interpretations are similar: "The End", "Good Night", "No More".
