We were not even finished with re-electing Obama before speculation started about Biden and Clinton in 2016.

Chris Matthews, for one, is already bloviating as though it's unquestionably either Clinton or Biden.

WTF? I thought it was the Republican Party where you lost a primary and then waited your turn, while the Democratic Party left its wounded on the field and moved on to the next great thing.

And it's going to be the Democratic Party running the party's white anglo saxon war horses, while the Republicans are lifting up Rubio as the party's savior?

And I thought anointing Warren and Markey were bad--not because of Warren or Markey, mind you, but because our candidates should not be anointees.

It's infuriating to think how little say voters really have in who their party's candidates are.

Indeed, they may not have all that much say in which party their party really is. I, for one, never intended to vote Republicrat or Demlican. Yet, apparently, I have.
