2. One of the things that impressed me is that the umbrellas are all dark.

I wonder if there no other kinds of umbrellas then? Or did the Inauguration Committee provide umbrellas to everyone?

I prefer seeing colorful umbrellas on rainy days.

The clothes are dark too. Between that and the bunting and the dark umbrella, it looks more like mourning than Inauguration Day.

The size and shape of the umbrellas seems very practical, though.

But, who knew President Grover was so kind?

About the child he may have fathered. The woman had been, um, seeing several men when she got pregnant, including his best friend. And, she named the child after his best friend. But, Grover stepped up and supported the child. Why? Because he was the only man in the group who was not married.

So, (a) he did support the child; and (b) he protected his friends and their families.

And he got elected President, even though the other side had used the child in the campaign. Could that happen today?

Anyway, I enjoyed writing that post.
