Hal Turner received 3 years in jail for blog posts that he made threatening judges. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/13/hal-turner-guilty-blogger_n_681881.html

Here's another link about it from Raw Story http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/08/14/fbis-white-supremacist-shock-jock-convicted-threatening-judges/

Nugent's comments about sitting senators and a sitting president don't really seem all that different to me.

I thought that calling for armed revolution was a big no-no.

ETA: when I have time I'll try to look for more info., but IIRC the Southern Poverty Law Center had been tracking Turner for quite a while.

ETA: I found this which is more recent but as I have time I'll try to look through the site to try to refresh my memory about how long they've had an eye on him. http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-files/profiles/hal-turner
