One would assume that the U.S. government knew of the boomers, given that it made sure to protect the health industry and its insurers against the day when most boomers started becoming eligible for Medicare. But, two news stories today would suggest that the government is just first learning of the boomers. :sarcasm:
How dare government just keep taking our money, then fail to plan for totally predictable things like airplane hijackings and Boomers aging into eligibility for Medicare?
Meanwhile, two stories this morning about this subject and none about something like the May Day general strike. I guess we can expect to be treated to this until Social Security and Medicare and other safety net --lifeline--programs get cut.
When in hell is anyone going to care enough to get off the couch and start holding government and our Republican propaganda shill media to account?
