When it comes to the act so even as positive aspects of it come online there is a knee jerk desire to poo-poo it. Anything that forces the health insurance industry to put more resources towards paying claims will in my opinion be a step forward. As it is the insurance carriers spend quite a bit of time and money figuring out ways to shrink the amount that they pay out in claims, if forced to actually do what they are supposed to do (cover medical claims) instead of what wall street wants them to do (maximize profits) those who have insurance coverage may very well see the benefit.
