And keep in mind that these were troubled, disadvantaged children. Like prostitutes for serial killers, they're the perfect prey because they are unlikely to be either missed or believed.

Thank you for putting it into words, rocktivity. Each human life is precious. Rich or poor. American or Iraqi.

It is obvious our nation's leadership does not understand that basic democratic ideology. They certainly don't act as if they do.

Remember ex-Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL)? The guy headed the subcommittee or somesuch on Missing and Exploited Children. Foley had to retire from Congress because he sent sexually explicit messages to an underage male page.

Mark Foley was in charge of the nationwide efforts to protect the most vulnerable of children. I wonder if he's on the nation's list of sexual predators?
