27. Pit bulls & some other breeds can be very dangerous. But if they're raised properly,
they won't be, is what I've read. Rachel Ray owns a Pit Bull that I've seen tapes of. A delightful, careful, affectionate, good natured house dog. Caesar Millan's favorite dog, Danny, is a Pit. You couldn't find a more stable, well adjusted, calm dog than Danny. Most of the Michael Vick dogs have been rehabilitated, even though they were used in dog fighting.

I wouldn't breed them. But once a Pit exists, it deserves a chance at a happy life. It can't be raised by just anyone, though. Pits and Rotties and German Shepherds require special socialization and training, if only because IF they aren't raised right, they have the capability of being extremely harmful.
