The problem with Ralph Nader is that he was saying that there was no difference between the Democratic and Republican parties long before it was as true as it is now. Consider the 2000 election when he was proclaiming it loud and clear and running himself. Can any sane and rational person believe we wouldn't have been better off with Al Gore than with George W. Bush? Individual candidates should also be considered over party (assuming that we have any "electable" worthwhile individual candidates these days).
