5. My brother pays 1200 a month
for his wife and himself. His wife has a couple of pre existing conditions one of which is not very severe diabetes.

But I'm not high risk at all. I take blood pressure medicine. That's it.

I feel like I got so ripped off by Assurant. I was paying $600 a month and I really got nothing out of it. I still had to pay for all office visits and tests. I did some off on my presceiptions - both generic.

I felt like I was just taking $600 a month and tossing it to the wind. It was really discouraging.

A friend whose husband has pancreatic cancer pays $600 a month for him - but it's insurance thru her employer.
