Of course, some of those corporations who say they are american, seem more like traitors to the country--apparently it's okay as long as they are not traitors to their class like FDR. FDR the man who saved capitalism from itself.

When the eighties, early nineties, greedy deregulating free for all--greedheads doing hostile takeovers of american companies most in the black and gutting them, then selling them off to, sometimes, foreign entities while the workers, some generational, were screwed. Well, those greedheads found that they didn't have to use their personal assets to do these takeovers, no Michael Milkin, introduced them to the "junk bond" scheme. And the rest is history.
