47. Aw... Here's my babies who were born to a pregnant dog found on the street:

They were the only two in the litter - vet had told the people she had already had a litter and these may have been a second, simultaneous pregnancy - and I got them when they were eight weeks old. Took them back to see their mom, who the people who found her kept, at 3 months since I read that's good for them. They're gone now, way too early due to heart failure and cancer, but they were the best dogs I ever had, full of personality and so devoted and loving - a trait of their breed (pit bull), which is too misunderstood and mistreated.

The boy's (blond) name is ChIF, short for Chocolate Ice-cream Face cuz he had brown around his mouth that faded as he got older, and the girl's name is Ruga, Brazilian Portuguese for wrinkle, and I called her Ruga Buga Muga Wuga and she wagged her tail every time I said that.
