Political/ computer question
Advertisements [?]
This morning I posted a letter I was thinking of sending to my elected officials, asking for DUer's opinions. Thanks for all who replied. I really appreciate the input. At the time of writing the letter I was pissed that S&P still lowered our nations credit rating and letters I had sent my Senators and Representative had gone unanswered. Shortly after my posting, my power went out and that delayed me reading the replays. While the power was out, two letters from my Senators arrived. One Senator chose to address only things which we agreed, although our solutions are different, these differences were not addressed. The other replied each of my issues and pointed out where he agreed yet had a different solutions and the areas we differed and stated why he disagreed with me. Both thanked me for writing. I don't really believe either Senator actually saw my letter, nor do I believe the signature was theirs. However, it does appear someone did read the letters.

Now for my computer question. I know the "auto pen" has been around for decades giving a letter the appearance of a real signature, I also know there are apps/programs such as Dragon Naturally Speaking which can convert the spoken word into print and print into the spoken word, I used that program during graduate school. What I don't know, is there an app/program which not only can "read" text but understand it enough to create a reply using a series of pre-written sentences and paragraphs so that the recipient may think the letter was dictated by an actual human being?
