Trump: I'll Endorse Someone After The Debate I'm Hosting (TPMLivewire)

Speaking to the press after a meeting with Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump said he would hold off endorsing a presidential candidate until after the NewsMax debate he is hosting on December 27.

Newt Gingrich has agreed to appear at that debate. Rick Santorum apparently has too. Ron Paul and Jon Hunstman have rejected appearing. The rest of the field is unclear.

After the summit today, Gignrich and Trump announced a joint plan to select 10 “apprenti,” as Trump put it (the actual plural of “apprentice” is “apprentices”) from New York City’s schools to work for the reality TV star. “It was Newt’s idea and I thought it was a great idea,” Trump said at a joint press conference.
