Like Chris Matthews did.
No one wants to be alleged as being "in the tank for Obama",
the way most news organizations were accused of being all throughout the campaign.
Many believe that will muse up their hard earned "Credentials" as the impartial
judge and jury...

just like the "Liberal" media isn't really Liberal,
and they go out of their way to prove it daily,
the Professional Left don't like highlighting the positive stuff done
from a Democratic Administration because hey....they ain't in the tank,
and plus, old habits die hard. No one wants to read about positivity,
when cynicism, doubt and suspicion always make for a more exciting read!

They can criticize plenty, but they don't have the time to do much more than
minimizing as a "given" the positive.

It's their way of playing "Neutral".

Why not omit, twist, leave out the nuance and simplify every topic?
Hell, the Mainstream media does it, and they never pay any consequences for it.

That's why it is hard to find anyone anywhere ever praising Pres. Obama
for anything. Folks don't want to be accused of being Fans, Cheerleaders,
apologist and the likes. Words that have been used by the Left against their
own since January 2009.

Praising President Obama is not the "In" thing.....
no matter the topic.

You know, him and his pretty speeches, his cool attitude and
his good looks. isn't that enough?

But dogging him out, well, that's another matter, and if you're good at it,
you might even get on the TV! Just Ask Cenk!
Paul Krugman tried it, then felt used by the media for it.

Meanwhile, the Republicans get a towfer....
they get to lie and exaggerate about this administration
every which way, and instead of defenders from the left
rising to the moment, the Left are too busy making their own Critique
against this administration to notice.

So what gets left out in most of the reporting by Professionals,
on television, the Internet and newspaper alike? All of the positive.

and then comes election times, folks will be pointing fingers as to why
folks were less than "enthusiastic" and let the Republicans win by staying
their asses home feeling down and out.

But if many voices state over and over again what's gonna happen,
then eventually that's exactly what happens.
What's that called again? that theory?
