48. Or what if Lincoln rose from the grave to take the GOP nom?
What would happen then?!?!?
I tell you, I am far too busy thinking about how different our nation would be if Democrats in States that elect Republicans to the Senate would focus on that problem rather than snipping at others, who actually elect Democrats to every possible office. I mean, your voice in the Senate is Snowe and Collins. How can that happen if you are so insightfull and hard working?
As usual, I stick with advice from winners, not from those whose lack of engagement put obstructionists into Congress. I look at who you have elected, and I wish to be nothing like you, electoraly speaking. I want to elect Democrats, and keep them there. Not sure what you want, save for trashing those who do deliver victory, and whining about fantasy scenarios.
What if Reagan was still alive? What if? What if. What if Snowe and Collins were sent home, and Democrats put in those seats? Now that is a possible reality, I say anything you did in the past, do it differently, and try to win!
You bring us the twin Centrists and you also dare to lecture those who put actual Progressive Democrats in office. We liberals understand that Obama types like Snowe better than liberal Democrats, and to them, having Republicans in office is dandy, much better than 'those people' or "progressives" at which you all sneer until you need votes and money.
I count wins. I remember losses. Obama won. McPalin lost. That is how it is supposed to work, the Democrat wins. Apply that to Maine, and go forward from there.
