18. (CBS) A clear majority of Americans -- 72 percent -- support a government-sponsored health care
"(CBS) A clear majority of Americans -- 72 percent -- support a government-sponsored health care plan to compete with private insurers, a new CBS News/New York Times poll finds."

"When presented with the option of a government-administered health
insurance plan something like Medicare to competewith private health
insurance companies, 72% are infavor and just 20% oppose. Even 50%
of Republicansfavor that.

GOVT. HEALTH PLAN TO COMPETEWITH PRIVATE INSURERS
Favor 72%
Oppose 20

But reactions are mixed as to whether the government shouldgo as far
as requiringall Americans to have health insurance, as long as it
provides financial help to those who can’t afford it on their own.
48% think the government should require this, while 38% think it
should not.

SHOULD GOVT. REQUIRE EVERYONE TO HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes 48%
No 38
Don’t know 14 "

Obama simply refused to fight for us - I hope he steps up to the plate soon... It's his turn to bat!
