The president says his mistake was believing "the oil companies had their act together when it came to worst case scenarios."

I think that deserves some support. I'm glad he realized what so many were screaming from the get-go - what are you DOING trusting a dirty MF'ing oil giant? They blocked everyone with expertise, as we have heard repeatedly on Capitol Hill, and refused information that could have been used by REAL scientists who care about this country as much as Barack Obama does - but instead, British Petroleum was trusted. And, the president trusted them and admits he was wrong to do so. I commend him for doing something I cannot remember hearing a president do in forever!
