And so far as I know, their words haven't been disputed. So you can disbelieve it if that's what fits within your preferred narrative.

As for the movement of sand, if I'm the Governor I'm moving it post haste. It's not going anywhere, and can in the future be reclaimed to be used for those planned projects.

Fuck the experts who say the sand could wash away. Is there a hurricane forming off of the east coast of Africa that I don't know about? If not, I'm putting the dredgers to work tomorrow. No, tonight.
