the entire world still needs, even though the small, narrow group of parasitic predators has almost everything completely under its control.
F'r one thing, what about the public need, and RIGHT for information on what is happening at the local level, as in how taxes are collected and spent, how the local law enforcement people are conducting themselves, as in police brutality, politicians, use of public funds, property rights, education, health matters like clean, affordable water, food, etc., etc., etc. going along the chain all the way to national security, and national policy regarding other people in other countries.
The way it's working now, we got NUTHIN'. We're wandering in the dark, whistling past the graveyard, keeping our fingers crossed, and some of us keep trying to find out more, any way we can. A lot of people seemed lulled to sleep. Is it it "The American Dream?"
It's not healthy natural human nature to be managed, handled like this, is it, thinking of the great writers from the 1930's.....
Clearly, alternatives to the already completely controlled and manipulated corporate public perception molding being done by what's left of our major newspapers, and the desiccated and utterly laughable wire services will be needed. You can't keep an entire planet under your thumb, no matter how many stupid scum right-wingers infest message boards and other places democratically motivated people gather to trade information.
We all know they expose themselves freely and artlessly to anyone who reads their material at all. As soon as you see "where they're coming from," you know how much you can trust what they're saying. They are attempting to clog up the arteries where we come to pool resources, hoping to shout us all down. In time, I'd bet many people will learn to simply ignore them, and work around the idiots.
It will be necessary for the PEOPLE to find trustworthy ways to still get at the information we need, to get the news we used to turn to newspapers to get, to keep ourselves aware of what is actually happening with our own brothers and sisters and fellow beings across the planet.
We see it's not where it used to be. That's gone. We're going to have to create new resources.
As that has happened, and must happen with a simple human requirement like information, it will have to happen in the other essential areas, as well.
How the world will react to the willful paralysis of our traditional sources will be an opportunity for incredible creativity, and no doubt, no doubt at all, the people will WIN. The imagery might come to you as brains rewiring themselves after strokes.
It's going to happen.
