watching the American Idol and eating popcorn?

So to answer your question...Yes. Civil disobediance is one of the major ways we have to voice our displeasure to our government officials. It's as effective as protests, calling our Representatives. Furthermore, by using her name and the brave actions she's done, the media finally started talking about ending the war and the misuse of the term 'patriot'. Before Cindy stepped up to the plate, we couldn't even get 5 seconds on the media.

If we had your philosophy women would still not be allowed to vote, blacks would never have made the gains they made at Civil Rights during the 60's and 70's (that the Republican Party is still trying to stifle) and the Boston Tea Party would never have happened (and thus the American Revolution would never have happened.)

So to answer your question: Hell YES it made a difference.
